It is Sunday April 22, 2007 and I just returned from the Craft Brewer's Conference in Austin, Texas where I attended a seminar on electronic communication. I have wanted to have some way of creating a single source for comments on the crevices for some time -- something off the grid as it were where only people that have an active interest could post pictures, comments, thoughts and directions to the many hidden spots in the Shawangunks.
Hey, while I am at it, let's all work hard to keep the pronounciation of "Shawangunks" alive: it IS pronounced "Shon-gum"...
The big news today is that I have found more photos of the map that Fletcher Smiley drew of the Crevices and plan (if all goes well) to scan them soon. As soon as I get this task done it will be the subject of post two.
